Terms & Conditions


You authorize THINKERVOLT to perform the work described in the Authorization/Receipt/Estimate (“Service”) on the device identified on Authorization/Receipt/Estimate (“Device”), subject to these Terms and Conditions. Service on Your Device will not begin unless and until you authorize it. In case of Remote Support, you acknowledge that by Your use of the Services You are authorizing THINKERVOLT to access and control Your computer or device for the purposes of diagnosis, service and repair. In connection with delivering the Services, THINKERVOLT may download and use software, gather system data, take remote control of Your Device and access or modify Your Device settings. By accepting these Terms, You hereby grant THINKERVOLT the right to connect to Your Device, download and use software on Your Device to gather system data, repair Your Device, take remote control of Your Device and change the settings on Your Device while performing the Services. If you receive a loaner device to use while Your Device is being Serviced, and you lose or damage that Loaner Device, you will be charged and liable for the retail price of the Loaner Device.


You are solely responsible for backing up any data on Your Device and deleting, encrypting or otherwise protecting your data from unauthorized use. THINKERVOLT will not back up or restore your data, and is not responsible for any data that is lost or corrupted. THINKERVOLT will not treat data on Your Device as confidential and disclaims any agreement with you or other obligation to do so.


Personal information you provide on Authorization/Receipt/Estimate (such as an e-mail or mailing address) will be used only to fulfill the service you have requested; THINKERVOLT will not sell, rent, or otherwise disclose such information without your prior approval.


THINKERVOLT warrants for a period of Thirty (30) days from the date of service, that service will be performed in a competent and workmanlike manner. In order to claim under the warranty you must return your device to the location where service was performed, at your expense. If you have not claimed your Device and paid all charges due within sixty (60) days after being notified by THINKERVOLT that your Device has been serviced, THINKERVOLT will consider your Device abandoned and may dispose of your product in accordance with applicable law. THINKERVOLT may offer different delivery methods for warranty service, including but not limited to parts and product dispatches, mail-in service and onsite/in-home service. HARDWARE WARRANTY does not apply to the software component of a product or a product which has been damaged due to accident, misuse, abuse, improper installation, usage not in accordance with product specifications and instructions, natural or personal disaster, or unauthorized alterations, repairs or modifications. Hardware Warranty does not apply if Damage, deterioration or malfunction resulting from accident, abuse, misuse, neglect, fire, water, lightning, or other acts of nature, commercial or industrial use, unauthorized product modification or failure to follow instructions included with the product. Additional Periods of warranty from Part Installed such a manufacturer warranty, will be covered by manufacturer and THINKERVOLT only will charge for labor of installation or warranty claim service to the manufacturer. This warranty does not include any software issues created and/or caused by the User/Customer such as viruses, spyware, tampering with the settings or other non-related hardware failures. SOFTWARE WARRANTY, THINKERVOLT warrants for a period of Thirty (30) days, Device Software Repair, Remote Support, Web Design and Web Development. Additional Period of Warranty will be will be declared in Software Contract or Authorization/Receipt/Estimate. This warranty does not include any software issues created and/or caused by the User/Customer such as viruses, spyware, tampering with the settings or other non-related sofware failures.


You and THINKERVOLT agree that it is our intention that these Terms and Conditions be enforceable in accordance with their terms to the fullest extent permitted by law. You and THINKERVOLT agree that if any portion of these Terms and Conditions are adjudged by a court or arbitrator to be invalid or unenforceable, that adjudication will not invalidate the remainder of these Terms and Conditions and they will be fully enforceable.


Authorized Service Centers are required to meet THINKERVOLT’s standards at all times with regard to service levels, certification of technicians and availability of service to customers. THINKERVOLT periodically audits and reviews Authorized Service Centers to ensure these high standards are consistently met.
